The 40th UAE national day was celebrated at the Thalassemia centre with the support from DP world and Emirates Thalassemia Society.
The event included variety of cultural shows from UAE, Palestine, Lebanon, Pakistan, India, Iran, and Sudan. A dance sequence was performed by nurses from Thalassemia centre. Mr. Abdullah Ismail an outstanding and creative media person made the event an enjoyable one with his interaction with the audience. There were also other activities such as children games, camel riding, coloring, and henna, in addition to the traditional food and handmade products made by the patients’ and many others.
At the end of the event patients were rewarded; participants and other supporting entities were honored. Thanks to DP World for their unwavering support towards thalassemia patients and to the Emirates Thalassemia Society for their outstanding cooperation in all the events.
