Thalassemia Centre consists of a day care unit, out patient clinics in addition to a well established social and outreach services :
Day Care Unit with 28 beds for patients who require blood transfusion.
Out patient Clinics utilized for effective screening, counseling and continuous medical care for patients with Thalassemia and other haemoglobinopathies.

Endocrinology :
The clinic is run by a specialist endocrinologist managing various endocrinological complications of Thalassemia patients.
Gynecology clinic :
The clinic is run by consultant gynecologist with special interest in Thalassemia disease.
Social and entertainment Services :
The social service at the centre is organized by full time dedicated social specialists. The centre offers generous recreational areas catering to different age groups (with toys, games, TV, video and computer training) and an exhibition hall presenting our entire patients’ creative work. The centre actively coordinates and supports the Emirates Thalassemia Society (comprised of parents of Thalassemia children) in its various activities. These include health education for the patient population, awareness about Thalassemia through media to the general public and various activities in schools and colleges to spread awareness of Thalassemia in the community.
